Stampin’ Up! Colour Renovation

After exstensive research into current trends, Stampin’ Up! have renovated our colour families, into 4 colour collections which now includes a Neutrals collection.  We have 15 new colours to look forward to when the new catalogue is released in October.

Retired Ink Pad Club – A Fond Farewell!

As for now, we are to wave goodbye to a massive 30 colours in October, which means you have a little over 5 months to collect your favourites before they are gone for good! If you would like to collect all of the ink pads before they disappear and gain extra goodies for yourself, why not join my Retired Ink Pad Club?

How will the club work?

You will receive 5 ink pads per month for 6 months (April to September) for £25 a month. (This includes p&p)

Fine Flourish Swap

This is the card I have made for the Mini Catalogue swap on ILWS and the Pink Ladies swap. The card is 4″ x 4″ in Whisper White cardstock. I have stamped the brand new, utterly gorgeous Fine Flourish stamp in VersaMark ink, on Perfect Plum cardstock. I then covered the stamped image with white embossing powder. Using the SU heat gun, I embossed the image. Yum!

Next I trimmed down the image and used the Word Window punch to punch out the centre section. The ‘thanks so much’ sentiment is from the Trendy Trees stamp set, which I have stamped in the centre of the card using Perfect Plum ink. I have wrapped a length of Whisper White 1/4″ grosgrain ribbon around the stamped layer and tied in a pretty bow. Finally this layer is stuck to the card using SU Dimensionals. I hope the ladies in both swaps will like these! I have made 30!

‘Mini’ Thank You Cards

 Every month I try and spend an hour or so making a new batch of mini thank you cards. I send these Thank You cards out to all of my customers after they have ordered to say ‘Thank You’. This month I have finally got a chance to break open the brand new  ’Fox & Friends’  stamp set from the ‘Mini Catalogue.’ 

I have taken a 12″ x 12″ sheet of Whisper White cardstock and scored at 2, 6 and 10 inches. I then cut at 4 and 8 inches, giving me three 4″ x 12″ lengths with a score line down the centre. Next I put the lengths in the paper trimmer and cut at 2 inches. Doing this with a 12″ x 12″ sheet of cardstock gives me 18 mini 2″ x 2″ cards. 

I have used the owl, monkey, lion and the whale along with two of the ‘Thanks’ sentiments from the ‘Thank You Kindly’ Stamp Set. Using Tombow glue I have added googly eyes!

Punch Art Animals – Owl are yoooou?

Oh yes, what a cheesy title. I just had to do it! Today I’m going to show you how I made these cute punch art owls. I don’t always like punch art animals because some take a while to make, but these owls are quick and simple to do.

Stampin’ Up! Materials Used for card:

Cardstock: Basic Grey (Base Card), Old Olive, Whisper White, Barely Banana, Basic Black Textured, Night of Navy, Ballet Blue, Bordering Blue, Chocolate Chip.

Designer Paper: Sweet Pea Stack

Punches: Two-Step Bird, Boho Blossoms, Heart to Heart, 1-3/8″ Circle, 1/2″ Circle, Cropidile (Large hole), Tab, Oval.

Ribbon: 5/8 Old Olive Satin Ribbon

Adhesives: Stampin’ Dimensionals, Tombow, SNAIL Adhesive.

Tools: Paper Trimmer with Scoring Blade
