Birthday Cupcake Paper Piecing Card

by Sarah on 13/08/2010

This is a birthday card I made for my sister’s boyfriend’s birthday which was today.  The cute cupcake image is from the stamp set ‘Crazy for Cupcakes’. I have stamped in Basic Black ink, once on each colour of designer paper, (Sweet Pea Designer Paper and the Chocolate Chip Designer Papers.)

Carefully I then cut around each section of the cupcake and then used the SNAIL adhesive runner to piece the cupcake together. The card is finished off with a layer of co-ordinating designer paper and a length of pumpkin pie striped grosgrain ribbon. The ribbon is wrapped around the inside of the card, which neatly holds a folded £££ note in place.

Happy Birthday Simon! I hope you had a wonderful day. x

All materials used are from Stampin’ Up! and available to order from me today.

Happy Anniversary Card

by Sarah on 25/07/2010

I made this card last week for my grandparents 55th wedding anniversary. They were so thrilled with it. :) Aaw! To make this card I have used ‘Not Quite Navy’ cardstock for the base card. I love that the patterned paper and that two of the heart stamps co-ordinate with a dotty pattern. All the Stampin’ Up” products I used are available to buy from me today.

by Sarah on 21/07/2010

The fabulous Mini Catalogue has now been out for 3 and a half months and I’m sure I do not need to draw your attention to pages 12 and 13, featuring the gorgeous whimsical Sweet Pea products.

There is a very good chance that all the Sweet Pea products will be discontinued in October, which I think is a real shame. I know for certain that the gorgeous designer papers are only available while stocks last, so grab them quick!  Personally I think if the papers are disapearing, then the additional matching products will probably be discontinued also.
